The energy audit<\/strong> consists of the study of a building (of any type) aiming at identifying both system and heat insulation improvements suitable for reducing the building\u2019s energy consumption.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”top” css=”.vc_custom_1548781365543{padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The energy audit<\/b> is a systematic procedure carried out in order to provide an adequate knowledge of the energy consumption<\/b> profile of buildings for civil use, industrial operations or installations and public or private services, intended to identify and quantify opportunities for energy savings in terms of cost-efficiency, and finally, to report on achievements.<\/p>\n

To do this, a series of data registration operations on both the production cycle devices and the general services plants are needed. This is in order to enable the analysis of the standard operating conditions and to assess and calculate possible improvement actions.<\/p>\n

The process of drafting the energy audit is essentially divided into two separate phases:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Consumption system characterisation, drafting and calculation of energy patterns, assessment of specific consumption, drafting of energy balances and comparison with technologies and benchmark data.<\/li>\n
  2. Preliminary assessment of the technical-economic feasibility of any possible improvement actions aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of devices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The actions of the second phase prima facie may be classified as follows:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Management improvements: new contracts, calibration, stand-by elimination, reduction of load peaks.<\/li>\n
    • Technical improvements to increase energy efficiency when using and producing in order to reduce energy consumption: new devices, installation of frequency converters, use of renewable sources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
